Full description
Mother was taken to a facility in Kumamoto and the house has been vacant for about 10 years. We continued lawn mowing, pruning, and cleaning twice a year in hopes that mother might someday return home. Mother passed away at the end of last year. Since I left Kagoshima, my parents built this house, so I have never lived in it myself. Thinking of how hard my parents worked to build it, I cannot bear to let it decay unused. I am based in Kumamoto, and my children are in Tokyo, so no one will return to Kagoshima. I would be delighted if someone who wishes to live in the countryside would take it. It is a genuinely rural town with good sunlight on a hilltop, within walking distance to the station, but with no supermarkets nearby. Built approximately 50 years ago, the exterior and construction are solid. Several years ago, the entire roof from boards to tiles was renovated at a cost of 3.5 million yen with rain-leak repairs. Water and other fixtures are sold as-is. Can be transferred at any time. / Note: As-is condition and kōbo (registered title) transaction. / Land: Parking available

Area and hazard data
A pre-1981 build predates Japan's current earthquake code, which can matter for insurance and renovation. We flag the era from the year built where we have it.
