Adjacent property has a steel-frame, slate-roofed warehouse (formerly used as a nori seaweed processing facility) and farm field. / Town's Charm: Tamaki City is blessed with abundant natural resources, including Ariake Bay, the Kikuchi River, and mountains of the Kodai and Kimpoku ranges, as well as numerous scattered ancient burial mounds, giving it rich historical resources. Agriculture thrives with rice, tomatoes, and various vegetables, as well as fruits such as strawberries and mandarin oranges, along with nori seaweed and clam fishing. In the northern part of the city, at the foot of Kodai Mountain, is Tamaki Hot Spring, boasting over 1,300 years of history and excellent spring quality; in the southern part is Shoten Hot Spring, the setting for Soseki Natsume's masterpiece 'Kusamakura'. Located between the Kumamoto and Fukuoka metropolitan areas, with the JR Kyushu Main Line, Kyushu Expressway, and Ariake Ferry nearby, it enjoys excellent transportation access. From Shin-Tamaki Station, Hakata is 40 minutes away, Kagoshima is 1 hour 20 minutes away, and Osaka is 3.5 hours away, making northern Kumamoto an area within day-trip distance of both the Kyushu and Kansai regions.
